Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Challenge Mode Patch Is Live

Mar 12, 2026

Tomb Raider game promotional artwork showcasing three different costume variants or skins of Lara Croft displayed side by side against a dark textured background with three vertical panel backdrops. The center figure is the most prominent, depicted in ornate gold and bronze ancient warrior armor with a red scarf, gold laurel leaf hair accessory, and a braided updo, set against a warm amber temple background. To the left, Lara wears a green and black futuristic wetsuit with tactical goggles pushed up on her head, carrying a scoped assault rifle, set against an underwater teal backdrop. To the right, Lara is styled in a sleek olive/military green tactical outfit with aviator sunglasses and a side braid, dual-wielding silver pistols against a dark green background. All three versions share the same confident, combat-ready expression and stylized animated art style.

Ten versions of Lara Croft are displayed in a lineup against a dark textured background, each wearing a distinct costume skin. From left to right the outfits include: a dark navy tactical suit with gold belt, a red racing jacket with goggles and grey pants, a pink and gold fantasy warrior outfit with armor shoulder pads, a sleek grey pilot or spy jumpsuit with blue-tinted glasses, a striking red and gold Asian-inspired royal outfit with a gold crown centerpiece, a sporty crop top and red patterned shorts with orange sunglasses, a black and neon green athletic racing bodysuit with knee pads, a gold and bronze striped fantasy skirt armor set, and a classic tan safari explorer outfit with a white hat. Each Lara model shares the same stylized animated character design but is differentiated by her unique costume, color palette, and accessories.

New Outfits

Lara’s got a new look… or ten. Try on a whole new wardrobe with enhanced abilities and special upgrades, but first you’ll have to earn them. Unlock the whole collection by completing 30 new challenges. Each outfit is inspired by a location in the games, can you tell which ones?

A Tomb Raider Challenge Mode promotional image displaying eleven achievement or challenge badge cards arranged in two horizontal rows against a dark background. At the top center is an orange distressed banner reading "Challenge Mode" with a crowned skull icon. Each badge is designed to look like an aged, weathered parchment tile with dark red and magenta illustrated artwork. The badges depict various challenge themes including: a figure holding a compass, Lara Croft seated atop a large pile of skulls, a triumphant silhouette with arms raised in a sunburst, a silhouette standing victorious on a mountain peak, Lara making a peace sign gesture, a shark, a crouching figure with large animal paw prints, a silhouette walking a winding path through trees, Lara in her wetsuit costume beside a no-swimming symbol, a stopwatch with a running figure indicating a speed challenge, and a silhouette figure in an action pose against a pink splattered background. The overall aesthetic is retro adventure poster style rendered in warm brown, pink, and magenta tones.

New Achievements

Increase your CR (challenge rating) with modifiers in Challenge Mode to replay your favorite levels on a more challenging difficulty. Earn all 15 new achievements as you unlock new outfits. The higher your CR, the bigger the rewards.

A Tomb Raider game screenshot showing a dramatic action sequence inside an ancient Greco-Roman style stone temple or colosseum. Lara Croft, dressed in her gold and black ancient warrior armor with a red scarf and gold laurel hair accessory, is leaping acrobatically through the air in the upper right of the frame. She is surrounded by two large dinosaur creatures — a towering red-orange theropod dinosaur dominates the left side of the image, lunging forward with its jaws wide open revealing sharp teeth and outstretched clawed arms, while a second large brown dinosaur is partially visible in the foreground right. The ornate interior setting features tall stone columns, decorative carved friezes with laurel wreaths and lion head details, mosaic tiled floors, and warm amber lighting, creating a sense of grand ancient architecture contrasting with the prehistoric danger.

The largest and central device is an iPad or tablet displayed in portrait-leaning landscape orientation, showing a remastered close-up of Lara Croft in a brown outfit, red scarf, and white safari hat, standing inside an ornate ancient stone temple with decorated ceilings and columns. In the lower left is a smaller tablet or iPhone in landscape orientation displaying an older, more blocky original-graphics version of a Lara Croft character navigating mossy stone ruins, representing the classic retro gameplay. In the lower right is a Nintendo Switch handheld console showing Lara Croft in her green and black futuristic wetsuit costume with tactical goggles, posed in a rocky cavern environment. The three screens together illustrate the game's availability across multiple platforms and its visual range from classic to remastered graphics.
