TR25 Box Art Reimagining: Reloaded by Melanie Herrmann

Capping off the Year of Lara, we have one final Box Art Reimagining to share with you today!
Although Tomb Raider Reloaded didn’t have a physical release, German artist Melanie Hermann imagines what it could have looked like, drawing inspiration from Lara’s very first adventure. Check out the beautiful illustration below:
“I was inspired by the original intro sequence from the first Tomb Raider game,” Melanie says. “The dramatic action scene with the wolves is something that I will never forget.”
Melanie Herrmann is a German artist based in London. She started her drawing journey when she was a teenager, copying Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball images from magazines. Melanie always wanted to become a concept artist but faced rejection, so she started working for creative agencies and the automotive industry. Some years ago, she finally decided to move to the UK and got her dream job at Square Enix as a Marketing Artist and work on the next Tomb Raider game for mobile.
