Lara Croft’s Jade pendant holds a deep, personal significance. She found it when she was just 5 years old while exploring one of her father’s archeological digs. Lara was wearing her favorite penguin pajamas when she showed the pendant to Conrad Roth, her godfather and mentor who often led Lord Croft’s expeditions. Roth took one look at the Jade pendant and was visibly impressed. He praised Lara’s sharp instincts and used one of his boot laces to fashion the pendant into a necklace for her.

Lord Richard Croft was intrigued by the find but couldn’t attribute it to a specific time period.
